Originally built in 1870, this East Greenwich renovation expanded the home to enhance livability while preserving its architectural integrity. A thoughtfully designed addition on the left side created a two-car garage with primary suite above, plus a fourth bedroom and mudroom connector that ties the structures together so naturally it appears original to the home. The interior was reconfigured to improve flow, relocating the kitchen and designing it with chef-grade appliances, custom wood cabinetry, and quartz countertops, complemented by a butler’s pantry. Outside, revitalized porches and outdoor gathering spaces include a pergola-covered terrace flowing into lush gardens, and a 430-square-foot outbuilding was transformed into a versatile studio, adding a flexible workspace to this Rhode Island design build property.
